The Serpent Queen

So, kind of first fanart.

Azami/Pike Queen Lucy from Pokémon Emerald.
Dunno, kind of the few Pokémon trainers that i like (maybe because in the games, Lucy is kind of a slim, tall, exotic and arrogant bitch that has one of my fav pokémon in her team).
So, at 3:00 am, and without anything else to do while waiting for the dawn to come, i went on drawing.

So, kind of odd stuff:

-Lucy herself...i don't know, she is among the few characters in pokémon that really has japanese-like features in her face. Those squinty eyes...

-Seviper: I have a weakness for snakes, and Seviper has a much better design than other snakes like Arbok and Dunsparce. Tried to do a realistic Seviper, and i think i failed.

-Steelix: Big, bad-ass steel snake. I used the Thing as a reference for the rocky texture of the head.

-Shuckle: Shuckle is a goddamn bug, not a smiley turtle or a rock with sausage-like appendages. So my Shuckle has to be goddamn creepy.
Trivia fact: As of 3:00 am, i did a search in DA for images of Shuckle. There were no results.

-Milotic: Who can find a big, slimy, amphibian-like snake thingy to be beautiful? While drawing Milotic, i went looking for some animals for reference...from moray eels to hagfish, i couldn't find anything that looked like the pinky pokémon sea snake. So, i used an anaconda for reference.

-Gyarados: For some reason, i've always pictured Gyarados as the T-Rex of the Pokémon world. Screw those pesky Sharpedos and Octilleries, my Gyarados is a killing machine with the jaws of the T-Rex and the body of a chinese dragon. Oh, also, those evil eyes. They must be present in any decent Gyarados.

Probably i'll do Candice, Flannery, Clair or Lorelei next.
