The Dover Demon.
Storyline Stuff:
The Dover Demons (Cryptosaurus Dovericus) is a rare reptile species. While most of the known reptiles have a common body plan, the Dover Demon is a semi-bipedal creature with a thick skull, monkey-like body and an unusual high intellingence for a reptile.
First seen in 1977, Dover Demons were at first, confused with the classic grey aliens; but, after the discovery of a small community, the Demons have been called several things, since highly intelligent descendants of the Troodon, to the true evidence of reptilian humanoids hiding in Earth.
Real Stuff:
Faux explanation for the Dover Demon; a reptilian-like cryptid from the USA. While some people think of them as aliens and demons, i went for a setting and storyline involving them as the supposed 'dinosauroid' descendant of the Troodon.
