Officially, my scanner died...

I'm the proud owner of a HPf4180 printer/scanner/copy machine... and for some reason, my trusty device isn't working.
I rebooted my computer last month after my HD suffered a breakdown, so after installing a new OS, my computer failed to recognize the scanner and even after i downloaded the drivers, it isn't working.
I have a sh*tload of drawings i've made since august (really, at least 50 concerning this account and 25-30 regarding my TF-Account and some commissions)... but until i manage to fix my scanner... well, let's say i'm currently paralyzed.
